How does iScanner use my data?
Who can access my files in iScanner?
No one but you. Neither iScanner nor any third parties can access the files you store in the app unless you explicitly decide to share them.
Where is my cloud data stored, and how is it protected?
If you use our cloud storage, apart from your own device(s), your files will be stored on our servers within Amazon Web Services, the largest cloud service provider globally. AWS adheres to the same security standards as military and global banks, so you can rest assured that your data will be protected.
How can I protect my files in iScanner?
Apart from the protection that your mobile device provides, you can take a step further by securing your files by using a PIN code or biometric recognition.
You can also restrict access to the entire app or particular files or folders. If you share a protected file with another person, they will need to enter a PIN code to open it.
Can I withdraw my personal information from the app?
You can opt out by completing and sending us this form. However, depending on how much information you wish to withdraw, the app might not maintain its functionality after that.
