U.S. Apple App Store users who make purchases from the App using an alternative payment option (outside of Apple In-App Purchase mechanism) can find the applicable rules here
I. INTRODUCTION
These Terms of Purchase govern the different types of purchases that you can make in relation to the Second Phone Number - 2Number Mobile App (the “App”). By initiating or making any purchase related to the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Purchase. .
The Terms of Purchase apply in addition to our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy for Messaging, Calls, and Accounts. We encourage you to read all these documents thoroughly to ensure proper use of the App.
II. PURCHASE TYPES AND PAYMENT OPTIONS
The App is available to download free of charge. Once you download the App, you will access the basic interface and view available offers. The App’s primary features, which include obtaining and using a second phone number for calls and messaging, as well as additional enhanced functionality (collectively, “Premium Features”), require a purchase.
Access to our Premium Features is provided through an auto-renewable subscription. A subscription typically includes a bundle of in-App credits, which are the in-app currency used to make calls and send messages from the phone number assigned to your Account. If the in-App credit balance included with your subscription is depleted, you may purchase additional credits as a separate one-time purchase to continue using the App’s calling and messaging services.
All key details, such as pricing, included Premium Features, the duration of subscription billing period, and other information relevant to the specific purchase, are displayed before you complete a transaction. We reserve the right to change our purchase offerings at any time.
Depending on your location, you will be presented with the following payment options:
- In-App Purchase via Apple App Store (available for all users regardless of their location). All purchases (i.e. auto-renewable subscriptions and one-time purchases of in-App credits) made directly within the App via Apple’s In-App Purchase mechanism are regulated and managed directly via the Apple App Store. See Section IV. REGULATIONS FOR IN-APP PURCHASES MADE THROUGH THE APPLE APP STORE to learn more details on payment process, availability of refunds, cancelation of subscriptions and management of purchases made via the Apple App Store.
- Alternative payment option via external payment link (available only to the U.S. Apple App Store users). Users who access the App through the U.S. Apple App Store will be given an option to complete their purchases by following the relevant external payment link provided within the App. To understand the specifics of the payment procedure, refund policy, or how to manage, cancel App subscriptions purchased via external payment link, please refer to Section V. RULES GOVERNING AN ALTERNATIVE PAYMENT OPTION (OUTSIDE THE APPLE APP STORE DIRECT TRANSACTION SYSTEM).
III. FREE TRIALS AND SUBSCRIPTION AUTO-RENEWALS
Free trials (if available). Some subscription plans may offer you to try the Premium Features at no charge for a specified trial period (“free trial”). If you activate a subscription with an available free trial, note that after expiration of the applicable free trial period your auto renewable paid subscription will start and you will be charged automatically each subscription billing period unless you cancel your subscription. If you want to prevent the start of charging and automatic transition to a paid subscription, make sure that you cancel your subscription with a free trial at least twenty-four (24) hours before the trial period ends.
Subscription auto-renewals. All subscriptions to the App are auto renewable. It means that during the 24-hour period before the current billing cycle for the relevant subscription plan ends, such subscription plan will renew automatically for the next subscription billing period (weekly, monthly, annually, within another applicable period), and you will be charged automatically on an ongoing basis unless you cancel your subscription (turn off subscription auto renewal). Therefore, to prevent the auto renewal of your subscription plan for the next subscription billing period and withdrawal of funds, make sure that you cancel your subscription at least twenty-four (24) hours before subscription renewal date, i.e. at least twenty-four (24) hours before the current subscription billing period ends.
Bear in mind that one subscription includes the opportunity to use only one phone number via the App. For each new phone number, you need to get a separate subscription.
THE FOREGOING PROVISIONS REGARDING FREE TRIALS AND SUBSCRIPTION AUTO-RENEWALS APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE PAYMENT OPTION YOU USE (In-App Purchase via Apple App Store or Alternative payment option via external payment link).
IV. REGULATIONS FOR IN-APP PURCHASES MADE THROUGH THE APPLE APP STORE
The following specific rules and regulations apply to purchases (i.e. auto-renewable subscriptions and one-time purchases of in-App credits) made directly via Apple’s In-App Purchase mechanism.
Payment methods and processing. When you make a purchase through Apple's In-App Purchase system, the cost will be billed to the payment method connected to your Apple Account. This is the one you approve at the point of purchase confirmation . Review this Apple support article to learn which payment methods can be used with your Apple Account for your country or region. We do not have access to your credit/debit card data or other payment information when you make a purchase through the In-App Purchase mechanism of the Apple App Store. As Apple handles and supports the processing of all payments related to purchases made on the Apple App Store, you hereby agree to comply with all applicable Apple instructions, terms and conditions related to its In-App Purchase system and corresponding payment processing.
Subscription cancellation. To turn off subscription auto renewal, follow the relevant instructions from this Apple support article. To avoid being automatically charged, cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings at least twenty-four (24) hours before the end of the free trial or the current subscription billing period.
Refund issues. If you are eligible for a refund, you will have to request it via the Apple App Store mechanisms. To request a refund, follow the relevant instructions from this Apple support article.
Please bear in mind that we cannot issue refunds directly with respect to purchases made through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Only Apple can process and address such refund requests.
V. RULES GOVERNING AN ALTERNATIVE PAYMENT OPTION (OUTSIDE THE APPLE APP STORE DIRECT TRANSACTION SYSTEM)
If you access the App through the U.S. Apple App Store and choose an alternative option for making a purchase by following the external payment link provided within the App at the purchase stage, the specific terms and conditions that follow are applicable.
Payment methods and processing. Stripe, Inc. (and/or its affiliates), acting as the payment processor, directly handles all purchase transactions initiated via the external payment links. Available payment method(s) (e.g. Apple Pay, Card) for Stripe transactions will appear when you finalize your purchase. By choosing an alternative payment option as described herein, you agree that Stripe will handle the entire payment process in accordance with its then-current Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We encourage you to carefully review these Stripe Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before proceeding with your purchase.
Your payment information (e.g., credit card details) provided via the external payment link is securely handled and processed by Stripe and is not stored on our servers.
Subscription cancellation. If you have purchased an App subscription following the external payment link as described in this Section V, you won’t be able to control it via your Apple Account Settings. Instead, you’ll have an opportunity to manage such a subscription and cancel its auto-renewal directly through the Settings within the App. Note: Authentication within the App (i.e., being signed in) is required before you can proceed to cancel this type of subscription using the App Settings.
Should you encounter difficulties canceling your subscription in the App Settings as outlined herein, please submit your request for cancellation to us by email [email protected] or via our support form, and we'll gladly assist you.
Billing queries and refund policy.
Please note that Apple is not responsible for any refunds related to purchases made via external payment links.
For all purchases made via external payment links processed by Stripe, our refund policy is as follows.
Eligibility for Refunds. As a general rule we do not provide refunds for purchases you made via external payment links unless your right to a refund is conspicuously and imperatively prescribed by the law applicable in your jurisdiction.
Refund exceptions and limitations. Before applying for a refund, you must ensure that your refund request does not fall within the scope of Refund exceptions and limitations specified below. In particular, the refunds are not guaranteed, and the corresponding refund requests may not be satisfied in any the following circumstances:
- You changed your mind about a purchase or decided to request a refund for a purchase due to personal reasons (these cases will serve as bases for denial of refund unless the laws applicable in your jurisdiction provide you with the right to withdraw from the purchase for any or no reason within a clearly established grace period after such purchase has been made);
- We have reasonable grounds to believe that you use the App in violation of our Terms of Use and/or Acceptable Use Policy for Messaging, Calls, and Accounts, or your use of the App Account is unauthorized;
- You submit a refund request for a particular subscription billing period after such subscription billing period has expired, or for a one-time purchase of in-App credits after such credits have been partially or fully used;
- For monthly and longer-term subscription billing periods: if you request a refund later than 14 (fourteen) days since you initially purchased a subscription or since your subscription renewal for a new subscription billing period;
For weekly subscription billing periods: if you request a refund later than 7 (seven) days since your initial purchase of subscription or since your subscription renewal for a new subscription billing period; - We have reasonable grounds to believe based on the relevant evidence that your refund request is fraudulent and/or has no legal grounds. For example, we may deny your request for a refund if we detect that you actively used the App after making a purchase , and there is no relevant evidence and confirmation that you experienced malfunctions, critical or major bugs using the App.
All Refund exceptions and limitations specified above shall be interpreted and apply without prejudice to refund rights, the rights of withdrawal or other similar rights that should be mandatorily granted to you under applicable laws.
You should also bear in mind that if you make a refund request and it is approved, the refund will be issued only with respect to the subscription billing period in which the refund request was properly made.
How to submit refund requests. All refund requests with respect to purchases made via external payment links may be submitted in the following ways:

To ensure that your refund request is processed quickly and efficiently, you may be required to provide your name, email address, transaction details (date and amount), last 4 digits of the card, the proof of purchase (screenshot of the transaction/receipt) and a detailed explanation why you are requesting a refund. After receiving your refund request we may ask you to provide additional information, such as further details about your purchase and/or the relevant documentation, other evidence that supports your request and the right to receive a refund. After we receive all information necessary to proceed with your request, we will review it carefully and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund within a reasonable period of time.
If a refund is granted, it will be processed back to the original payment method used for the purchase via Stripe. Note that once your refund request is approved, it may take some time for the refund to be processed and for the funds to be returned to your account. The processing time may vary depending on your financial institution and the applicable payment method.
Disclaimer regarding Apple. For any purchases made via external payment links (i.e., not through Apple's In-App Purchase system), Apple Inc. is not responsible for any aspect of that purchase , including but not limited to, the purchase process, payment processing, subscription management, renewals, cancellations, or refunds. VI. CHANGES TO THE TERMS OF PURCHASE
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms of Purchase at any time. Any changes shall be effective immediately upon posting the revised version of the Terms of Purchase on this webpage. It is your sole responsibility to review these Terms of Purchase periodically to stay informed of updates.
